Call for Papers

Special Issue of the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation on Gas Discharge Phenomena at UHV

We are pleased to announce that the August 2020 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation (TDEI) will be devoted to Gas Discharge Phenomena at UHV. The topics of interest for this special issue include, but are not limited to:

  • Arcs, Corona, Barrier and Surface Discharges
  • Streamer, Glow, and Breakdown
  • Fundamental Discharge Processes
  • High- and Low-Pressure Plasmas and Applications
  • Discharge Techniques, Measurement, and Diagnostics
  • Emerging Applications of Gas Discharges

Submission Guidelines

You are invited to submit your paper to the TDEI website no later than February 292020. This special issue solicits original work that is previously unpublished, state-of-the-art research and that is not currently under review by other journals. On the Submissions Page, be sure to select the Guest Editor for the Gas Discharge Phenomena at UHV Special Issue from the drop-down list. Papers will be peer reviewed according to the standard process for all IEEE transactions and journals.

To ensure rapid processing, be sure to follow very closely the template and the instructions therein, which can be downloaded from the TDEI Submissions Page.
