Mission Statement
The tasks of the DEIS educational committee are related to all educational aspects of dielectrics relevant for electrical insulation, actuation, and sensing. Prime target audience is the DEIS-community at large, i.e., professional, academic and student members. Some activities shall be devoted to attracting young students and professionals not-yet members to join the society, other activities will be focused on retaining members and to recover (re-join) past and onetime members (e.g., those in contact with DEIS conferences that never joined). Electric insulation questions are relevant for many power and energy applications and thus the educational resources could be of use also for members of other societies.
