The International Conference on Dielectric Liquids (ICDL) will take place June 23-28 in Rome, Italy.
This is a research-oriented conference on dielectric liquids Examples of relevant topics are: Basic properties (ionization, conductivity, interfacial effects, space charge), Modeling and theory, Prebreakdown and breakdown phenomena, Biophysics and related phenomena (aqueous liquids), Radiation induced processes, detectors and application, Measuring techniques (material characterization, diagnostics), Materials (insulation, molten polymers, water, liquid crystals, new liquids, emulsions etc.), Electro-hydrodynamics (charge-induced flow, electrocoalescence, electrorheology, Applications (electrical insulation, static electrification, EHD pumps).
At the 2019 conference, a special session on alternative gasses on SF6 having much less greenhouse impact will be also organized.
The conference is fully sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Insulation Society. Additional conference details can be found here.
